Thank you to Tracy for arranging the hire of the animal exhibits which were supplied by Mr Cave of Medway Taxidermy.  The animals looked superb and their natural presentation and beautiful colours made them wonderful subject matter. None of the animals were killed by hunters, this is a golden rule of the taxidermy supplier.

Some artists brought along their own subject to paint. All mediums were used including acrylic, watercolour and pastel.

There was a wide range of subjects to choose from and as you can see, they were brilliantly interpreted by our artists.

Here is some of the artwork produced yesterday. Click on each one to have a closer look, you will be  amazed at the content and construction. Who would believe that you could create these from tearing and cutting up old magazines. Many of us were very unsure about collage but Fiona made us think again and we came away with a very different outlook.
